Coach Kendell Jamison is brought on as Lady Jaguars Head Coach for the 2016 season.  

 

Prior to beginning his time with the Lady Jags, Kendell was hired as Women's Basketball Assistant and Recruiting Coordinatorat Goucher College for the 2014-2015 season. Jamison was the Head Basketball Coach at Notre Dame of Maryland University for a couple of years after spending the 2010-2011 season at the Gators’ Assistant Coach.

Jamison was also the Head Varsity Girls Basketball Coach at the Friends School of Baltimore for five years, leading the Quakers to the IAAM quarterfinals twice and two semifinal appearances. 

"Sports participation at high levels is reserved for a small percentage of the population. Providing an avenue for student- athletes to become great people is one way I know how to impact our community for the better," Jamison said. "I developed my coaching philosophy based on what is important to me as a teacher."

The #2 high school player in Orangeburg County (S.C.), Jamison attended South Carolina State University, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Physical Education. A Health and Physical Educator for 17 years, Jamison is currently in the golf industry.
